Telegram

Zamen’s bot carries your automations’ messages to your team’s Telegram groups — shipping, warehouse, customer care — with buttons they press to move the automation on.

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Telegram → Manage groups, or Link Telegram from a step in an automation.
  2. Press “Add the bot to a group”: Telegram opens on your list of groups.
  3. Pick the group and confirm adding the bot as an admin.
  4. Back in Zamen, the group shows under Linked groups.

The link is valid for half an hour. Instead of a group, you can also receive messages in your own chat with the bot.

In the automation, add an App action step on the TELEGRAM connection and pick the send operation:

  • The group that receives it.
  • The text, with values from the event: order number, customer name, the items and their options, the amount.
  • Buttons: each with a label and a value, like “Shipped” and “Item missing”.

Each message is sent once per run, even when the run is retried. With Loop run over the order’s items, one message arrives per product.

The press is an event called button.pressed, carrying the button pressed, who pressed it, and the message’s reference. Use it in two ways:

  1. Wait in the same automation: a Wait → Continue as soon as an event arrives step, connection TELEGRAM, event button.pressed, condition reference = the order number. The automation moves on the moment someone presses on this very order’s message, then updates its status in Salla.
  2. A separate automation that starts with Event from a connection → Telegram → button pressed.

Make sure it is still in the group and is an admin, and that the group shows under Linked groups. If you removed and re-added it, link the group again.

I want my store’s name instead of “Zamen”

Section titled “I want my store’s name instead of “Zamen””

In the Telegram link window, choose “Use my store’s own bot”. It’s optional; Zamen’s bot does everything.
